"A book, a film, a record" (1992)

In 1992, Rolling Stone Magazine asked various celebrities to pick a film, book and record that they would recommend to people. Among these was Jarmusch:

Book -- "Moravagine", Blaise Cendrars

A very wild book by an equally wild guy who "...lost an arm while serving in the foreign legion during WWI, and whose 20 some books were written with the speed and flexibility of a film camera..."

Film -- "Branded to Kill", Seijun Suzuki

Probably the strangest and most perverse "hit man" story in cinema.

Record -- "Jail Bait", Andre Williams

Dark, throbbing R&B with lyrics like: "It's a rough temptation, but a common invitation...So take my advice, that's jail bait."
